Life has thrown lots of ups and downs my way! I am excited to share what I’ve learned along the way to give YOU the confidence to dream big and follow your passion. I’m here for you and I am rooting for you. Whether its dog training, goats, business, or life passions, I’m here to help you follow your dreams and build a life you love.
How I got here….
A lot has “gone down” in the last 20 years that has shaped me into the person I am today!

Life started to get interesting with a surprise pregnancy when I was just 18. My daughter turned out to be one of the best “oopsies” of my life. She allowed me to find my strength and resilience!

With family in tow, I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from NC State in 2005.

Right out of school, I started a job at Schneider Electric as a project manager. Over the next 6 years, I gained experience managing a team of people and getting myself out there in the world.

While in college, I stumbled upon the concept of fostering dogs. I got involved with German Shepherd rescue and fostered my first dog in 2003. I later became the foster home coordinator and spent the next 5 years as a member of the board.

After 6 years in the corporate rat race, I decided I had had enough. I quit my job and jumped into dog training.

In 2012 I started my first dog training business as a soloprenuer. In 2014, I helped start up a new dog training company, focusing mainly on Board and Train services, which quickly grew to a team of 10+ trainers.

In 2019 I got my first goats and dove head first into dairy goats! After 5 kidding seasons, I opened up the farm to the public for bottle feeding sessions, goat yoga and farm tours. The adventure in Agritourism began!
